Fall Family Campout

Our annual Fall Family Campout will be held this year on October 13-14 (Sat-Sun) 2018. We'll be spending the night at Greenville Farm located in Haymarket, VA.

Agenda:

SATURDAY: You may start setting up anytime after 12:30 pm. The Pack will be checking in around 12:00. We'll have a full day of activities for the boys including games (such as capture the flag), hiking, fishing and more. The more volunteers we have to lead the activities, the more we can offer.

With 200 acres of farm land (including 43 acres of woods), campers are welcome to roam the farm, see the farming operation or visit the animals.

As always, the highlight of the campout will be the Saturday night campfire. With Saturday to practice, we expect every Den to present a skit or song. And of course, what’s a campout without S'mores and dutch oven cobbler!

SUNDAY: Sunday morning, we’ll have a short interfaith service and pack up. While many folks may depart by 10am, you're welcome to enjoy the day at the Farm.

Other than campfire desserts and emergency water, the Pack is not providing any food or drink. Food can be organized as families or coordinated as a Den. Please reach out to your Den Leader to discuss arrangements.

If you are new to camping and need information about gear and cooking equipment, just ask a Den Leader, the Cubmaster, or anyone in a tan leader shirt. We will be glad to help you.

See the file below for a list of recommended camping supplies.

Please RSVP on the ScoutBook invite that will be coming out soon.

Hope to see you on the 13th!
